Tucked in Tuesdays are back @mp_reads on Instagram! Tune in on Tuesday, March 1st at 7:30 p.m. Mrs. Holbrook will be the guest reader this week, and other teachers will share a story each week at the same time. The guest teacher will share a "Magic Word" from their book! Listen for the "Magic Word" and write it down on a piece of paper to add to the Word Jar in the office the following day. We will pick one winner from the jar to receive a gold coin to select a book from the book vending machine!

Jefferson Elementary will be holding its annual Change Wars contest from Monday, February 7, through Friday, February 18, 2022. Bring in extra change to support our school. The classroom that brings in the most change will win a PIZZA PARTY!
Friday, February 4th is Global Play Day! Children from all grades will be placed in a group for the day. They will visit 5 classrooms for 40 min each where they will participate in 5 different activities . One classroom will house board games, another puzzles and memory games, others include card games, imagination, and movement. Children will have time with their own teacher and have lunch and recess times as normally scheduled.

Don't forget to swing by Honeydew for your coffee this weekend, Rockland! On December 4th and 5th, ten percent of sales will be donated to RPS elementaries for end of year projects and supplies!
Register now for a Covid-19 booster shot this Friday, December 3rd, from 2pm-6pm at the RMS Cafeteria. Pre-registration is required. The vaccine booster is available to anyone over 18 years old who is either six months from their second Moderna and Pfizer shot or two months post Johnson and Johnson.
