Dear Rockland School Families,
Who is hungry for some great reading? It’s time to try a taste of a new book, devour your favorites, and take a bite out of all the events the Rockland Memorial Library has to offer!
We are kicking the summer off with a district-wide Summer Reading MENU Challenge! We want to encourage reading of all sorts, all summer long. Everytime you read something on the Menu, write the date, what you read, and how many points it is worth from the Menu on the “Receipt!”
When you return to school, return the “Receipt” to your teacher and prizes will be given to all who participate, as well as the top point earners!
Remember, EVERYTHING counts! Reading to your child and with your child are just as important as them reading by themselves.
Get excited to READ, READ, READ over the summer!!!
