Fall Sports Update 11-8-18

The lady dogs varsity volleyball team defeated Ursuline Academy last Friday and followed up with a big win on Monday evening against Sturgis Charter. The lady dogs fell to Case in the South Semi-Finals Thursday evening 3-0. Congratulations to the entire team and coaching staff on a remarkable season!

Congratulations to our two SSL soccer all stars Meg McDonough and Nicole Blonde.

Congratulations to our cheerleaders who came in first place in the Whitman Hanson Invitational last Saturday.

Our volleyball team took time this past week to visit Ms. Hologitas' elementary class and read with students in her classroom.

Congratulations to Dante Vasquez on his performance vs Silver Lake last Thursday evening. The dogs won 42-21 and Dante broke Tyrone Jefferson's game rushing record with 276 yards. The dogs continued to roll with their 5th straight win after defeating Archbishop Williams 21-0 last night, November 8th.

The JV football team finished off another successful season with a win over East Bridgewater. Look at that rain!

Clearance day for winter sports is Nov.14th after school (1/2 day for parent conferences). Please report to the Nurse's office with updated Physicals and your user fee if you have not paid one. $200 single and $375 total family cap.

The Boys Basketball team will play Norwell H.S on Jan.6th at the Boston Garden. Tickets will be on sale next week at the High School Athletic office and at the Thanksgiving day football game. Tickets are $16.00 and our youth teams will be invited to shoot around at the half. Here is an article with additional information.

Congratulations to freshman Maggie Flaherty on her selection to SSL Cross Country All Star team

On Wednesday, November 7th, RHS, Carver, and Abington held a Unified Soccer Jamboree Style Tournament.
