The Social Studies Department at Rogers Middle School hosted its fourth annual Upper Middle School History Fair. Held in the middle and high school’s shared library over the course of three days, this fair was a celebration of academic and creative excellence. The essential purpose of the event is to showcase our students’ research, writing and presentation skills acquired and honed over the course of a school year, while honoring their unique abilities that help them make meaning of the past. Seventh and eighth graders worked diligently for three weeks to produce writing portfolios, models and tri- folds that were on display for their peers, faculty and the community. The Upper Middle School History Fair has become a an important part of the culture of the middle school- acting as an important and exciting culminating event for students, teachers and administrators alike.
