Rogers Middle School/Rockland High School Building Project
Building Project update April 14, 2010

The building project has officially moved from design phase to construction drawings phase and when students and staff at the high school return from April vacation, they will see the first tangible evidence of the project. Ceiling tiles in the hallways are being removed so that engineers can track the various pipes and conduits in the ceiling. This task will be performed by Agostini Construction, which is the new Construction manager. The project now has the complete team of professionals, architects, project manager and construction manager. From here on in, the plans for finalizing the timeline will happen quickly. We can expect to see the construction fence erected in the high school parking lot this summer. In September or October foundation work should begin and steel should be erected over the winter months.
Agostini Construction was chosen after a very detailed selection process. They have a great deal of experience in school construction and were the contractor for Whitman Hanson Regional High School. Their website is http://www.agostiniconstruction.com
